I live and work in Birmingham, UK. I love to combine painting, scribbling, photography, linocut printing and digital wizardry, to see what emerges, and I also sometimes write and occasionally run workshops. Many of my images end up with figures or shapes appearing, producing striking, dramatic, images. They have have a kaleidoscopic effect using reflected, mirrored techniques.
I am interested in process art, creative play, theopoetics and intuitive, compassionate listening, combining all these in a space where people can listen to themselves as well as to each other and to divine love.
I have qualifications and research in Linguistics (PhD), Theology (MTh), Adult Education (PGCE) and Restorative Justice (Cert) and a background teaching in higher education, among other things. I wrote a book about the structure of language that gets used in undergraduate programmes in a number of countries. I have no formal qualifications in art, listening, gardening or crochet but I do them anyway.
